Building on the invaluable insights we gained from our first wānanga hauora held in early May, this is an opportunity for our whānau to shape the development of a Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki hauora strategy, which will be a cornerstone of our work in the future.

Umupuia Marae, 163 Maraetai Coast Road, Clevedon 2582.
What:
At this wānanga, we'll go over the themes that came through from the first wānanga and provide an update on the rest of our hauora research, in order to seek whānau input and feedback while we progress with developing an iwi hauora strategy.

Please note, as per our approval from the Health and Disability Ethics Committee for the design of this research, to participate in the wānanga you must be a registered Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki iwi member of at least 18 years of age.

Ngāi Tai Whakaora:
This wānanga is part of He Paringa Tai, a research project aimed at developing a Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki hauora strategy that is built upon the voice of our people.
He Paringa Tai is one of two strands that make up a wider hauora research programme, Ngāi Tai Whakaora, being undertaken by Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki in 2024.
